David Brinn is the Editorial Director of ISRAEL21c, a non-profit organization that focuses media and public attention on the Israel of the 21st century. A veteran journalist who has lived in Israel for 22 years, Brinn was a senior editor at The Jerusalem Post from 1990 to 2002, and continues to contribute columns to the newspaper. Originally from Portland Maine, Brinn lives in Ma'aleh Adumim with his wife and four children.

This blog, an initiative of the World Zionist Organization’s Department for Zionist Activities, is intended to stimulate 6 months of heightened reflection on the meaning of Zionism, and the relationship of Jews everywhere to the Jewish state. We’re looking forward to a joyous celebration of Israel’s 60th, but one infused with substance as well.
